Service Station Ministries

Projects are for Jr. & Sr. High students.

  • Maple Creek Bingo:  Students help call numbers, hand out prizes, and help residents play.  We meet at St. Mark at 6:30 p.m. and return at 8:20 p.m.  Maple Creek Bingo takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month (with some exceptions).  
  • Bethesda Friends:  Students go to Bethesda Lutheran Group Home to play bingo and interact with our friends.  We meet at St. Mark at 5:45 p.m. and return at 7:25 p.m.  Bethesda Friends takes place the 3rd Thursday of each month (with some exceptions).  
  • Oak Crest Manor Worship:  Students lead and participate in worship with our Senior friends.  We meet at St. Mark at 2:00 p.m. and return at 3:30 p.m.  For those who want to, we do lunch following late worship.  Oak Crest Manor Worship takes place the 1st Sunday of each month. 
  • Harbor House Friends:  New this year, students will interact with our severely handicapped friends, sharing the Gospel through word and song.  We meet at St. Mark at 5:30 p.m. and return at 7:30 p.m.  Harbor House Friends takes place four times during the year, on the 1st Thursday of the scheduled month. 
  • Homeless Encounter:  New this year, students will be taking the Gospel to the streets.  We will be taking meals down to the "street" people of the Heartside neighborhood... handing out meals, and sharing God's love for them.  We meet at St. Mark at 5:45 p.m. and return at 7:30 p.m.  The Encounter takes place four times during the year, on the 1st Thursday of the scheduled month.
