Upcoming Special Classes or Events

Baptism Activity Night
On Friday evening, November 21, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. there will be a Baptism Activity Night for parents to make one or two items to help celebrate Baptismal Birthdays.  These are the projects we are offering:

1. A Baptismal Birthday ceramic dinner plate made by you.  We will have supplies, patterns and an instructor available to help you make a plate for your child.  Cost: $15.00

2.  A Faith Keepsake Box decorated by you, to hold special items from the Baptism day and other spiritual milestones in your child's life.  Supplies and an instructor will be provided.  Cost: $7.00

Lutheran Hour Ministries, www.lhm.org offers a wonderful website for children.  Your children won't be bored when they visit www.jcplayzone.com.  JCPlayZone has lots of fun craft ideas, games, coloring pages, music, recipes and now even features daily devotions for kids!  Each of the devotions include a short story, Bible verse, and prayer.

Parents can visit the companion website, www.jcparentzone.com, which offers access to information on parenting from a Christian prespective.  Some of the featured articles this month include, Kindergarten Readiness, Making Friends, and Manners.  The articles and spiritual answers to questions are updated on a regular basis.
