St. Mark is a family of Christian believers.  We offer many opportunities for adults (and children) to learn and grow in their knowledge of God's love. 

Firm Foundation
This is the basic class that covers the teachings of the Bible and the Lutheran Church.  This class is required for anyone who has not been confirmed in a Lutheran Church and wants to join St. Mark.

There is no obligation for attending this class and it is open to members and non-members alike.

The material covers the six Chief Parts of Lutheran teachings.  Topics covered are the Apostles' Creed, Baptism, Holy Communion, Lord's Prayer and Ten Commandments.

This 4-session class is taught by Pastor Tom Meyer and uses the Bible and Luther's Small Catechism.  There is no cost for this class.

Membership 101
We will discuss how we have all been formed for God's family, also called the church.  This class will cover the five purposes of the Christian church in general and St. Mark in particular.

This class will cover the targets of the congregation and how the Bible talks about ministry.  The class will also cover the history and structure of St. Mark and the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
