Welcome to St. Mark Lutheran Church

Welcome to Saint Mark Lutheran Church and School!

We hope you'll find Saint Mark to be a friendly and welcoming place in our community. We recognize that people are from all different backgrounds, and we learn from one another to grow in our faith together as we seek a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Wherever you are in your journey of faith, it's our hope you'll stop by to visit and explore.  We offer both traditional and contemporary worship services and a learning hour provides Sunday school for children and group studies for adults.

Saint Mark offers Preschool education programs designed to instill confidence in each student and prepare them for the years ahead through a Christ-centered environment.  We invite you and your little ones to become a part of our growing early educational programs.

Preschool Open House

Stop by on Tuesday, March 7, between 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. to meet our preschool teachers, explore the classrooms and learn more about our preschool program. If you're unable to make it to the open house please call the office at (616) 455-5320 and schedule a personal tour.

Lent and Easter Services

Crossroads. They are there for all of us. Crossroads. They are choice points. Which way? Right? Left? Straight? What waits down each of those choices? Which way does our heart call us to go? Which makes sense? Which way is the way of Christ?

Many of those involved in the story of the Passion of Jesus came to a crossroads and had to decide which way to go. Some chose well, some did not, and the stories of each of these experiences at various crossroads help us to know what to do and what not to do when we encounter similar crossroads in our own lives. Join the journey to the Crossroads and to the Cross where we behold the One who chose the cross for us that we might know the way that leads to life!

Ash Wednesday Worship - Psalm 32:1-5
